worthy is the lamb + majesty
i was so undecisive that it took me so long to confirm this song while i only have like 4 - 5 practices to go through the entire thing... *die* [easter is on 23rd march 2008]
God is so good in so many ways... when we choose to ignore His voice and determine to say that it's my mind speaking, He chooses other ways to speak to us... to gently confirm and reaffirm what has been spoken... the song came to me quite some time ago.. but then again, i told myself again and again that it couldn't be that simple.. the message of the cross has so much to tell...
i was just worshipping the Lord when the song keep coming to my mind.. it was very gentle and very worshipful... but how am i going to choreograph it for only 4 dancers?? it was a matter of surrender... it was a matter of faith and trust in Him... so many people recommended songs to me and yet, this song came back to me again and again in such a gentle probing way...
the confirmation came to me in a way that is so unexpected.. mario offered to sing the song live during the dance and he also offered to come up with a group of choir to sing it out loud.. it's an offer that does not come easily.. so, i jumped at it knowing that by God's grace, the entire piece would bless and minister to hearts of those who will come on that easter...
may you too be ministered to when you ponder on the message of the cross... we do not worship the cross.. it serves as a tool to remind us of God's wonderful and powerful love for us that He is willing to leave His place of glory and come to this sin filled earth to die for us who are unworthy of his love... He chose to die.. will you, choose to live?
