promise

what do you think a rainbow symbolises?

well, after a hell of 2 weeks in the mood of grumpiness, i happen to be able to catch a glimpse of a rainbow today on the way home...
the moment i saw it, it did not mean much to me apart from its beauty...
but as i was in my colleagues car, i asked her whether does she believe in the myth that says that at the end of a rainbow, there'll be a pot of gold...

don't really remember how the conversation ended, but as i was pondering during cg, i began to look at the rainbow in a different ray of light... (wow! look at the choices of words i'm using)

rainbow is actually the promise of God to never flood after what happened during the Great Flood... i never really into why i was oh-so moody this entire 2 weeks, but as i think, i believed i failed terribly in seeking God whole heartedly in allowing Him to change me for the better? i was oh-so in control of my life that i thought i'd be a better driver than Him...
and God knows now that I'm so w-r-o-n-g!

well, back to the rainbow... the rainbow is a promise from God to his people... it came to me that God did not just gave me 1 promise! he gave me an entire bible of promises; to never leave me.. to be able to rise on wings like eagles... to receive healing.. and thousands more promises if i'm willing to look and learn..

well, overall... i'm glad that God's promises endures forever.. and that He will surely will never leave me nor forsake.. and that His love for me endures till forever..
Amen..

bake bake?

ooo!

for the first time in my life (ceh wah), i made pancake for breakfast!! wohoo!! it was pretty fun though i seriously was tired because of that 1 hour that i use to sleep in is used for these lovely breakfast...
hey! the instructions are all in KOREAN! haha.. it was pretty fun.. (that does not include the washing up part!)
funny thing was that i have no idea what is what.. everything isn't in English.. i had to guess which is the flour.. the yeast and the fillings.. haha.. thank God for brains and common sense.. :p
i've forgotten to take the pictures of the final product.. it did not look as nice as it is suppose to.. but nevertheless, after giving it out to friends whom consider themselves as my guinea pigs, i received ALL compliments.. wohoo!! if it's still available, i would love to get it again.. it's pretty nice.. RM 9.90 during promotion.. :)

ready?? ACTION!

Today's newspaper says this:

Note this: "wanted immediate improvements to be made"

i shall.... w a i t... patiently for the 'immediate' improvements though i have not much faith in our current government due to how politics seems to be a game of power and wealth.. BS.. waste time.. =.="

walking the EXTRA mile (the most interesting thing that happened to me in 2008.. for now)

i should be crowned the newest hero who walked the extraaaaaaa mile... *lol*
wanna know why?

well, recently i received an email saying that there is a christian book fair @ timesquare from such dates to such a date... since on monday i usually have dinner with my family, i plan to actually walk to time square from KLCC after work to visit it...

tuesday:
since i'm not that familiar with KL roads, i decided to ask a friend of mine the directions to actually walk to time square as she often does it... after drawing me a map, i left Kino around 6.45pm and started walking based on the map.. as far as I know, i suck @ recognizing roads... but miraculously, i found my way easily *well, thanks to the map my friend drew for me as i often did take it out to refer to*

anyway... finally, reaching pavilion around 7pm *i walked very slowly* i was so happy that i smsed my friend that i found my way there... THEN, i seem to realise that my final destination wasn't pavilion but time square.. *crap!* "how the heck am i suppose to walk there when i suck at roads?"

finally, able to see KL plaza, i walked towards it and my smart feet seem to possess my entire body as it leads me down the bintang walk... *smart rite?* i found myself in a place where people are enjoying their food @ mamak stalls and i suddenly felt the urge of smacking my own feet for walking the 'so-called' short-cut.. it wasn't short, okAY?

i then found myself walking towards the road between a hotel *watever name* and LOT 10.. i crossed the road quickly after looking out for cars and walked into the jalan-belakang of sg wang that would eventually lead me to the time square bridge... wow! finally!!! i reached time square around 7.20pm and went straight for the elevator as my legs were killing me... *i wasn't wearing flats okay!?* u know what? the smart elevator does NOT stop @ level 6 as there are NO buttons for level 6... fine fine... i'll get out @ level 7 and use the escalator then...

to cut it short, i found that place after needing to hunt it down for 5 mins and guess what??? haha.. the entire shop lot is _ _ _ _ y... freaking empty... why? i thought it must be some kind of joke... i looked around for cameras just in case ashton kutcher decides to jump out on me... *joking!* crap.. i smsed my friend to double check with her and after sending her the sms... i saw a chinese guy wearing a security jacket seating inside that shop lot.. i approached him (yes, i know i'm not that smart when it comes to asking a guy question at a very quiet place) and asked about the book fair... he just looked @ me and told me that he'll check it out for me...

we both entered the super long and deep shop lot and he passed me a phamplet *yes, i prayed along the way as i walked in after him*... guess what? the book fair ended on the 18th and yesterday was the 19th! stupid betul.. i left that place feeling stupid and my friend replies my sms at that time.. =.="

anyway, when i finally decided to leave that place, it was around 7.35 - 7.40pm.. i was fussing over the fact that the rapidkl is far off from time square... sigh.. please take note that i did NOT manage to sit down at all! i finally reached pandan jaya around 7.50pm and i went to fetch matthew soo from his college in PJ...

i reached PJ around 8.10pm and decided to surprise my ex course mates by dropping by her house which i kinda know the way... anyway, i finally found the house and when i called her... she told me she's @ home and i then told her to come out as i'm outside her house... sigh.. she then told me that she shifted house and i'm actually @ her old place.. haha.. crap.. yet again.. i tried looking for her house and i got terribly lost @ the end.. i finally gave up and went to rest outside matt's college in my car..

matt called me around 5 mins after i parked my car and he told me he's coming out.. (my head was screaming, "i have not even rested yet!!!") i finally told him the entire story and he drove me back to his house and even helped me da pau food as i was too tired to actually go into his house to eat... i went home straight after that feeling pretty numb in my toes...

there... seriously, i blame my feet for walking the extra mile!

politics sucks

dear blog,

i seriously hate office politics... it is something that i don't understand and probably something i never plan to understand... one day, people seem to like you, and the next day? well, they couldn't even be bothered by you... (=.=")

is life really that bad that people have to play with politics just for the sake of 'having fun'? let me tell you soemthing, it's NOT FUN... i'm not good at playing games like these... it takes a real hypocrite to really play it well.. speaking of which, we do have many of that in the government *if you get what i mean*...

call me sensitive... but sometimes it'll be great to just be friends for the sake of friendship rather than to be friends for 'udang di sebalik batu'... *wow, peribahasa's out!* anyway, i just hope it has nothing to do with people back stabbing me, gossiping behind my back or even be jealous of me (ceh wah! i'm just saying i hope there isn't anybody that.. not saying that there is) sometimes, i do feel that people might be jealous of the way i communicate with people... i don't know how true these feelings that i have are real.. but still, i can't help but to feel that there are / is someone jealous... *not that i have much to be jealoused about* they just don't know the true me... the one who speaks much but sometimes have no one to speak to at all.. the one who has lots of energy when around people but gets really tired out when i hit the bed..

sigh... i know i shouldn't be tooooooo concerned with how people feel about me cause' that is something that i will never be able to control... but sometimes, i just hope that i am able to know that i have friends who really cares for me... hmm.. i just hope that i know exactly where i stand... will i ever know?

make a choice

when you say "Worthy is the Lamb", you have to say it long enough in ur life to actually mean it... One day of "Worthy is the Lamb" is not enough to express it LOUD enough as it will just fade off easily tomorrow... a simple reminder of how important it is to have a continuous living relationship with my Creator...

*sigh*

do not worry when people choose not to serve alongside you, because they are not abandoning you.. they are choosing not to serve the Almighty God due to self-proclaimed reasons and excuses.. though it is heart-breaking to see that choice being made, it is still being made out of fleshy desires... it is sad, isn't it? like i said, they are not abandoning you... lonely you might feel... but when His presence falls ALOUD in the place where you live your life as a worship, those feelings will not be felt anymore... only His real presence will fill the sanctuary... only His Name will be lifted high...

Passion Conference, Planet Shakers, Hillsongs... all these 'event's are used to gather up Christians and to equip them to serve Him whole-heartedly with passion... many people it may be, but these people, hopefully not like me, dies off into the world as they are poured with works and assignments... thousands upon thousands gather up to jump and sing aloud, but it is a concern when these people are not truly worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth... we cannot put the blame on the host as their intentions are not to bring glory to their name... we can only blame ourselves because we are the ones who make choices every single day; whether to live for Him or to live for ourselves....

every new day comes with new decisions to be made... what is yours today?

Quotes about the ENFP:
"They can't bear to miss out on what is going on around them; they must experience, first hand, all the significant social events that affect our lives."
-
The Portrait of the Champion Idealist (Keirsey)
"ENFPs are warm, enthusiastic people, typically very bright and full of potential. They live in the world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and excited about things. Their enthusiasm lends them the ability to inspire and motivate others, more so than we see in other types. They can talk their way in or out of anything. They love life, seeing it as a special gift, and strive to make the most out of it."
-
Portrait of an ENFP (The Personality Page)

"Friends are what life is about to ENFPs, moreso even than the other NFs. They hold up their end of the relationship, sometimes being victimized by less caring individuals (reminds me of my previous blog). ENFPs are energized by being around people. Some have real difficulty being alone, especially on a regular basis."
-
ENFP Profile (TypeLogic)

"outgoing, social, disorganized, easily talked into doing silly things, spontaneous, wild and crazy, acts without thinking..."

saddening

the thought of not being able to trust friends are bad...
but the thoughts of being suddenly haughty to by friends whom you thought are friends are just plain weird...

i thought you were my friend.. that's why i did what i did to you... i playfully took your drink, i share to you that i did not go to the night market... it's something i would say to a friend...
i shared to you more than i would share to my other colleagues...
sigh...

it's seriously weird that a persons attitude towards you changes like the wind...
and, IT IS NOT FUN!
one moment, that person is super friendly to you.. the next moment? she/he turns and walk off away from you as though she/he does not know you...
small little things like this does make a difference in your life, you know?

i don't recall doing anything bad to that person.. i don't remember calling her/him names or back stabbing her/him... i just cared for that person like how i would to a friend... misunderstanding came in between? probably.... someone from the office back-stabbed you? probably.... argh! i just don't like it when things like this happens... office politics...

now, don't ever take friendship into politics.. people will never spare your feelings..
